C
RIMINAL DEFENSE
"Fighting hard to get the results you deserve"

The sixth amendment of the United States Constitution guarantees the right to every person accused of a crime to be represented by legal counsel.  If you have been charged with a crime, you have a right to a criminal defense attorney. Choose an attorney who has a successful defense record. I  have the experience and skill to defend you in your pending criminal case, and will fight to get you the results you deserve.

The constitution mandates that  our criminal court system has rules of due process and criminal procedure that govern the actions of all individuals involved.  This includes the police officers, defense lawyers, prosecutors, judges and juries.   I am well versed in the areas of due process and criminal procedure, and will aggressively work within this legal framework to effectively advocate on your behalf. Whether the facts of your case call for either negotiating a plea agreement or taking it to a bench or jury trial, I am here to assist you.  Many other attorneys, both public defenders and private counsel, are often more than willing to enter into unfavorable plea agreements for their clients so that they can move onto their next case.  When an attorney is reluctant to take a case to trial, a prosecutor usually has little incentive to meaningfully negotiate or make a reasonable offer to resolve a case that is favorable to the defendant.  Although plea agreements should always be on the table as an option, I am  more than willing to take a case to trial if necessary to get you the results you deserve.

My twenty plus years as a part time indigent defender with the 16th Judicial District Indigent Defender Board together with my private practice has afforded me exhaustive experience in the area of criminal defense. During my tenure with the Indigent Defender Board I represented countless individuals in the defense of misdemeanors and felonies.
